SASI invites all iSchool students to an interactive workshop on Tuesday, March 9 at 5:30pm CST to engage in a conversation about mental health and how it relates to us as scholars, professionals, and persons. There will be panelists ranging from MSIS students, PhD candidates, and first-years, as well as representatives from CMHC and SHIFT. This will be an opportunity to share, build community, and learn from each other.

This research presentation will present a long-term and large-scale action research study into the nature of librarianship. It will break down the practice-based shift of librarianship from collections and institutions to services and true community engagement, guided by theories of knowledge and social action.
