Seeking a Master's degree with a School Librarian certification?
Master's degree seekers will follow the requirements for the MSIS. In addition, you must have at least two complete years as a certified classroom teacher before you can apply to the certificate program. In addition to the documents required by the MSIS, you must upload these documents:
- Three letters of recommendation; one must be from your current principal or evaluation supervisor.
- Texas Education Agency ID number. Login or create new account: https://tealprod.tea.state.tx.us/
- Screenshot of your valid TEA teaching certificate: https://tea.texas.gov/texas-educators/certification/certificate-lookup
- Official Teaching service record from all districts from which you have taught proving you already have completed at least two years of classroom teaching upon application to this program.
- Statement of Purpose with a focus on school librarianship
- College Transcripts
- CV or Résumé
