Management of specific preservation strategies for cultural record; preservation policy; the selection process for preservation; minor mending and repair operations; library binding and conservation treatment; preservation assessments; emergency preparedness; contracting for services; and budgeting, grant writing, and fund- raising for preservation.

Management of specific preservation strategies for the cultural record, with an emphasis on assessing preservation needs of a collection and grant writing.
Prerequisites
Graduate standing.
Restrictions
Enrollment in Information Studies (INF) courses is restricted to graduate students in the School of Information through registration periods 1 and 2, with outside students only being accepted during period 3.
