Instructor Description

This course is offered as a direct colaboration with the Computer Science 378 course of the same name.  Students in the Informatics class will learn to design hifi prototypes using software such as Figma, while the Computer Science students will learn to develop these designs into working iOS applications using Xcode. The primary focus of the course is the cooperation of designers and developers to create working, usable software. No software development is required of the iSchool students, but Figma experience is preferred. 

Prerequisites

Upper-division standing and Informatics 310U.

Restrictions

Generally restricted to undergradute Informatics majors through registration period 1 and extended to Informatics minors in period 2.  Outside students – including iSchool graduate students – will only be accepted during period 3.
