Catalog Description

Overview of public health and the information systems used to achieve public health goals. This course is divided into three parts: (1) overview of public health, (2) fundamentals of public health informatics, and (3) public health information systems.

Prerequisites

Upper-division standing and Informatics 310M.

Restrictions

Restricted to undergraduate Informatics majors through registration period 1. Informatics minors may add classes and join waitlists beginning in period 2. Outside students will be permitted to join our waitlists beginning with period 3.
