Lecturer
Valle Hansen is a UX Research Director at Indeed, where she leads a team of researchers focused on the experiences of job seekers. She has worked in UX for over a decade, including roles at small design consulting firms around Austin.
Before moving into UX, she spent several years in book publishing in New York. She worked as a production editor at Penguin and Prentice Hall and later ran her own copyediting and proofreading business.
She holds an MSIS from the UT Austin School of Information and a BA in Anthropology and Spanish from Johns Hopkins. Outside of work, she likes to write, read, run, and cook.
