I 302 Academic Success in the Digital University
In-person class lectures supplemented by additional asynchronous online course modules.
DESCRIPTION
This class offers students hands-on practice with Canvas and other digital tools in order to scaffold success in the informatics program. Students will conduct an independent, iterative research project including the following steps: crafting a research question, finding and evaluating sources, and presenting information. Students will also synthesize their knowledge gained into a group report and a separate independent portfolio.
RESTRICTIONS
Informatics majors will have top registration priority through the early periods of registration. Informatics minors are encouraged to join the waitlist, which will begin promoting students on July 18 if seats remain available.
All other students will need to complete this Registration Support Questionnaire in order to request a seat in any of our classes.
