Spring Capstone Showcase 2025
About the Showcase
Capstone projects give iSchool students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom to real problems in research, technology, design, libraries, archives, data, and information services.
The poster showcase brings these projects together in one public event, creating space for students to present their work, faculty to celebrate achievement, and guests to see how information studies translates into practice.
Visitors can explore a wide range of student work, meet project teams, and learn more about the methods, partnerships, and questions shaping capstone experiences across the school.
Recognition
Dean’s Choice Awards
Each year, the iSchool recognizes selected capstone posters for special distinction at the showcase.
Dean’s Choice recognitions highlight outstanding undergraduate and graduate capstone presentations. Awards typically include a winner and an honorable mention in each cohort. Selections are made through review of student posters and presentations during the event.
Graduate Recognition
One winner and one honorable mention are typically selected from the graduate cohort.
Undergraduate Recognition
One winner and one honorable mention are typically selected from the undergraduate cohort.

Capstone Poster Showcase
The Spring 2026 Capstone Poster Showcase is a celebration of 175 iSchool students and their capstone work. Food and refreshments will be served, and the event is open to all students, faculty, and the community.
