Study of longitudinal course survey material for online course to generate pedagogical change via implementable standardized custom survey battles

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to fulfill a need for standardized supplemental survey question sets, also known as batteries, that generate relevant and useful student feedback that result in pedagogical design changes implemented in courses over time. The goal of this project is the longitudinal analysis of CC 303 WB surveys and the generation of standardized batteries that will be implemented in course surveys going forward. The long term impact of this project is the generation of pedagogical and instructional materials that can be implemented in courses resulting in timely and relevant feedback that will facilitate pedagogical and instructional responsiveness. This will be achieved through a foundational literature review, analysis of historical longitudinal data of the CC 303 WB course, the analysis of previous customized batteries, and evaluation of convergent concepts.
