Re-Envisioning Georgetown Public Library’s Youth Collection

Georgetown Public Library (GPL) is seeking to re-envision their youth collection. This re-envisioning involves looking at both the materials and the layout of the children’s area. In collaboration with youth librarian Bethni King, I became familiar with the population that GPL serves, evaluating GPL’s existing collection, and creating a plan to adjust GPL’s collection to meet ideal collection size metrics and the needs of the community.
