Sam Burns

Sam Burns is the Senior IT Manager and Director of the Information Commons at the University of Texas at Austin School of Information.  Sam's team plans, provisions, builds, and educates faculty, staff, and students on the technical infrastructure of the iSchool, the UT campus, and beyond.  Sam has worked as an archivist, records manager, systems administrator, Web and communications manager, and human-computer interaction researcher in Florida and Texas.  Sam is especially interested in the areas of universal design, open educational resources, and human-computer interaction.
