Biography

Tina is a doctoral student advised by Prof. Ken Fleischmann. Her research focuses on questions related to AI and Ethics, in particular to Trust in AI and AI Auditing. Before moving to the United States, she worked as a German lawyer, specialized in IT- and IP-law. Prior to joining the PhD program, she graduated with an MSIS from the iSchool focusing her capstone project on how Ethics can be implemented in Technology. As a Graduate Research Assistant, she is part of the Good Systems Smart Hand Tools group researching the use of smart hand tools in teaching and the real world. During her previous graduate studies, she also did qualitative research for the Good Systems Bad AI and Beyond project.
