Biography

Dr. Donald Westbrook is a researcher and author interested in the history of libraries, archives, and information studies. Westbrook received his Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University and MLIS from San Jose State University's iSchool, where he teaches classes on American library history and historical research methods. In addition to professional experience in academic libraries and non-profit organizations, he has taught history and religious studies courses at UCLA, Cal State Fullerton, the University of South Florida, and in 2019/2020 held a postdoctoral research fellowship at San Diego State University's Special Collections & University Archives.
