Biography

Siqi Yi is a doctoral student, advised by Dr. Jakki Bailey. She is a member of Virtual Reality lab at the School of Information. Her research interests are primarily focused on Virtual Reality and its applications in the fields of education and healthcare. She is interested in researching the affordances that virtual environments bring to enable people to learn and access health-related information. Prior to joining iSchools doctoral program, she got her Masters degree in Learning Technologies at UT and worked as an instructional designer in the Alien Rescue project to help build 3D models.
