Biography

Caroline is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Information, supported by NSF grant IIS-1412924. She studies interventions with information technology that relate to socioeconomic development. Caroline previously held the position of Digital Literacy Program Manager at Austin Free-Net. In this position, she managed a social service program funded by the City of Austins Digital Inclusion Office to provide underserved populations with access to computers and internet, as well as training about how to use these technologies. Before pursuing doctoral studies, she worked as a nuclear engineer.
