Recent iSchool graduate Jarred Wilson and his partner, Mark Steinwachs, made a designated gift to the iSchool, which will have immediate impact on many iSchool students. The funds will provide a professional photographer to produce headshots of any student who wishes to participate. These photographs will be suitable for many purposes, including professional portfolios, social media such as LinkedIn, career portraits, individual web sites, and personal uses such as graduation or sharing with family members.
Jarred is a May 2013 MSIS graduate with a background in non-profit management, who also represented the School of Information on the UT's Senate of College Councils and Graduate Student Assembly. Mark is a professional editor, a writer, and a book dealer. We are very appreciative of the generosity that Jarred and Mark have shown to the iSchool and to our students!
