Abstract
The purpose of this project is to address problems and deficiencies in the methods for tracking reference statistics at the Harry Ransom Center. The project will provide an analysis of issues that the staff currently face, as well as potential solutions and systems that could be implemented. This will be achieved by surveying staff to discover problem areas to focus on, researching guidelines and practices used by other institutions, and investigating systems that could be implemented in the future. The final report will be able to be used as a guide to implement changes to improve the quality of reference statistics.
