Abstract
This project implemented outreach and communication initiatives at the Dell Children's Medical Center Medical Library and Family Resource Center in order to evaluate and increase the number of information and search requests from patients and families. In addition, instructional materials were created for Dell Children's staff and volunteers that discuss health/e-health literacy and outline the resources and services available at the Dell Medical Library and Family Resource Center for patients, families, hospital staff, and volunteers.
