An Informational Audit of Austin's Office of the City Clerk

Abstract

An explorative look at the current state of the City of Austin's Office of the City Clerk's SharePoint information management system. Topics to be covered include a content inventory of their internal and external knowledge base, a review of their upgrade from an on-premise solution (SharePoint 2013) to a cloud-based one (SharePoint Online), and user-based interviews to determine the current usage of SharePoint along with recommendations on how to improve user experience and adoption with SharePoint going forward. In addition to these topics, there will be a review to look back and determine what went well and what lessons were learned during the project.
