Are you interested in an information and cultural programming-focused career that takes you from the seat of government of Washington, DC, to a science center in Pretoria, South Africa, to a programming venue on wheels in rural Nepal? If so, please join us for this information session with Sarah Ziebell (iSchool alumna) and Ana Ayala de Barbosa, two Regional Public Engagement Specialists (REPS) from the U.S. Department of State. Together, Sarah and Ana have a combined 26 years of experience in 52 countries working with the State Department's 600+ network of American Spaces (overseas American cultural centers) in the small, but mighty, corps of Regional Public Engagement Specialists. They will share about their personal journeys as library and information professionals to diplomats and discuss pathways for REPS careers at the U.S. Department of State.
