Enhancing Candidate Data Ingestion: A Study to Improve the Hiring Process for SMBs

This project aims to identify pain points and redundant tasks in candidate data ingestion for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and propose a solution that can be integrated into Indeed's platform to streamline the hiring process. The project uses exploratory interviews, user journey mapping and value proposition design to understand the needs and requirements of SMBs, followed by design and concept testing to propose and test a digital solution with representative users. The outcome of this research is a report that provides a comprehensive understanding of the challenges in the hiring process for SMBs and a prototype of the solution that can be used to streamline candidate data ingestion for SMBs, making the hiring process more efficient and effective.
