So if the numbers haven’t varied drastically, roughly 9.52 million tons of textile waste added to landfills yearly won’t decay. In the spirit of trying to change that I teamed up with SUAVS, a local footwear brand, to complete a study where we explored the sustainable efforts SUAVS employs as well as other industry techniques that could propel them towards a completely circular production cycle.
