This course will provide an introduction into the discipline and industry of information security (also known as cyber security). We will explore the history, theory, and practices of how we protect and control information in a connected, digital world. Information security is a complex topic that has become highly technical and specialized, and this course is designed to serve students regardless of their technical background or proficiency


Graduate standing.


Restricted to graduate degree seekers in the School of Information during registration periods 1 and 2.
