Abstract
In order to draw attention to women’s histories and stories at the Briscoe Center for American History, I reviewed the finding aids for more than 350 collections containing materials created by women. I focused on a small subset of these collections and I took a multi-method approach to making their materials more findable. My work included writing and editing finding aids to highlight women’s lives and contributions, as well as digitizing materials created by women. I also transcribed the 284-page diary of Frances Cox Henderson in order to create a searchable document that would be more accessible for future researchers.
