In 2003 I completed the National Institute for Health's computer-based training course at http://cme.cancer.gov/c01/ for Human Subjects Research.

I received my ALA-accredited Master's of Library Science degree in 2001 from the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB). While pursuing my MLS, I participated in a five- member research team environmental scan project during a Public Libraries Class to evaluate target core services of public library users.

In 1982, I received a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB). My experience with research methods was gained while enrolled in an Introduction to Marketing class. I conducted a six-month study of the Blast Grain Market by surveying 500 abrasive market customers of the Carborundum Company. This research study was under the supervision of Dr. Arun K. Jain, Samuel P. Capen Professor of Marketing Research, Department of Marketing, State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB).
