- Consultant, AIDS Services of Austin (ASA), October, 1994 to 1995. Consulted with education and information access unit staff at ASA regarding their need for an information resource center at ASA. Directed a feasibility study (in conjunction with a graduate opportunity minority research internship award) to determine needs, resources and support; helped with design of center.
- Consultant for Records and File Management Project, Metropolitan Community Church of Austin, Inc., Austin, Texas, 1993-94; developed a file system for church records.
- Consultant for an Archive and Resource Center Program, Metropolitan Community Church of Austin, Inc., 1995 to present; developed and implemented a plan for an archive program, library, and a historical resource materials file.

- Consultant, Steck‑Vaughn Publishing Company, Austin, Texas, September 8‑9, 1988. Reviewed out-of-print children and adolescent trade books for feasibility of revision and publication.
- Consultant and expert witness for Mr. Dale E. Muller, Attorney at Law, Austin, Texas, June 1986, served as consultant and expert witness in Twin Towers Venture and Austin I. S. D. v. McGraw-Edison Company and Oxford Services, Inc. Case no. 373,472, 167th Judicial District Court of Travis County, Texas, June, 1986. Responsibilities involved advising, giving depositions, and testifying in court regarding the worth of books and other education materials claimed to have been damaged in an office fire by Ms. Ann Cunningham, the intervenor.
