Description:
Technical and aesthetic considerations of various methods in the conservation of paper objects. Treatment options; vellum and parchment manuscripts; consolidation of flaking media. The similarities and differences between works of art on paper and library and archival objects are examined and emphasized. (Graduate standing, admission to Preservation and Conservation Studies, and consent of the graduate adviser)
