Description:
Study of the properties and behavior of information. Technology for information processing and management.
Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
May be repeated for credit when the topics vary.
Description: The course will focus on an exploration and review of current scientific data collection resources and practices. Students will apply their own information-based approaches to review existing scientific collections and practices. Students will have first-person contact with researchers managing natural and social scientific data collections.
