Description:
Communication patterns, bibliographic organization and information resources in business and industry. Surveys the field, treats typical information needs in the field, and provides practice in using reference materials to solve users' problems. Provides experience in online searching. (Graduate standing; LIS 382L.12, and credit or registration for LIS 384K.16 or LIS 382L.20)

Survey in business resources and information needs. Covers business information fundamentals. including company reporting requirements, management practices, business structure, and publishers of data, both online, web and hardcopy. Focused mostly on U.S. both public and private company and industry data sources and some international.
