About iCareers

iCareers is a tri-faceted interactive system powered by Symplicity, which has three separate portals for administrators, students/alumni, and employers. The system is designed specifically to connect you with organizations that employ our graduates.

iCareers Alumni Link Features

  • Job Searching: view postings for internships, capstones, volunteer and full-time positions
  • Search Agent: set up a job search agent to have the system send you automatic emails when jobs meet your criteria
  • Resource Library: view handouts, presentations, and articles on career topics provided by the Career Services Office
  • Manage Applications & Documents: save resumes, cover letters, references, transcripts and more in your account online
  • Events: View & RSVP for workshops, information sessions, alumni panels and other career-related events
  • Employer & Contact Database: check out which employers recruit with us and view contact information for recruiters and alumni


Only students and alumni of the UT School of Information are eligible to have an account on this system. Registering involves an approval process. You must have a valid UT EID to register. If your alumni status cannot be verified your registration will be rejected.
