Recent iSchool D&I Activities
The committee has been hard at work over the fall semester, funding student initiatives and finding new ways to engage and support students in our virtual environment. A few of the activities that we've been involved with are:
- Funding the SAA book club for A Black Women's History of the United States (2020)
- Hosting a screening of the documentary Change the Subject in collaboration with UT Libraries
- Organizing a group for a virtual Black Austin Tour
- Creating and sharing a student resource guide for pandemic support and more
